Asian Tuna Patties Recipe

A quick and easy way to cook a delicious non-traditional fish dish. Very tender and juicy patties with a spicy oriental flavor

You can also choose another Asian dish and prepare an unbeatable dinner for the whole family.

 


Prep.: 15 minutes  Cooking time: 20 minutes  Servings: 6 servings


Ingredients:

 

  • 200 g canned tuna
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • ¾ cup breadcrumbs
  • 3 green onions, minced
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 1 st. a spoonful of soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup cornmeal
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions:

Step 1:

In a large bowl, combine tuna, egg, breadcrumbs, green onion and garlic. Mix soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, ketchup, sesame oil, oil and pepper into the mixture. Shape into 6 patties about 2.5 cm thick. Lightly dust each patty on all sides with cornmeal.

Step 2:

Heat the oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Fry each cutlet for about 5 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
