Barbecue Halibut Recipes

Juicy and tender fish on the grill with a wonderful and easy-to-cook sauce.


Prep.: 10 minutes  Cooking time: 15 minutes  Servings: 3 servings




  • 1 (500 g) halibut steak
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

Step 1:

Preheat the grill over medium-high heat.

Step 2:

Place the butter, brown sugar, garlic, lemon juice, soy sauce and pepper in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Step 3:

Lightly grease the grill grate. Brush the fish with the sauce and place on the grill. Fry for 5 minutes on each side, basting with sauce.
