I was using my BPA-free plastic containers all the time, but they always started cracking, breaking or leaking very quickly. Due to this, I decided to change them by Pyrex and Anchor Hocking glass containers with lids, of course, fearing that I might break them by accident.

As long as I can remember, we have been actively using the already beloved containers. By the way, none of them broke, and I was very happy about it. For some time it was pretty good, but from time to time things got worse. The Anchor Hocking plastic lids from the containers started cracking and splitting. But there is some good news! You always can purchase a new replacement Anchor Hocking lids. Contrastingly, you can buy new Anchor Hocking glass food storage containers for the same price in a closed place like Big Lots. So the situation with the lids forms a vicious circle, which makes me very sad.

When I went to the mall, I bring my broken Anchor Hocking lids with me because I thought that the Anchor lids and the of replacement lids for Pyrex glass storage container were the same sizes.

By the way, that was right! They are identical!

 

You should also be aware that the companies claim that the lids cannot be changed, but in fact, they are identical!

Now I use the greatest combination. I buy heavy-duty spare replacement lids for Pyrex bowls and containers for Anchor Hocking glass food containers.

Pyrex replacement lids are cheaper than anchor hocking replacement lids. I also think that these covers are much dependable and more durable. In the future time, if you think to order lids for Pyrex glass containers from Amazon, the price will be less expensive than the price from the Pyrex Outlet store.
