- Wheat flour. 1⁄2 cup
- Rice flour, 1⁄4 cup
- Cornstarch, 1⁄4 cup
- Baking powder, 1⁄2 teaspoon
- Salt, 1 dash
- 1 egg
- Cold soda water, 1 cup
- Panko breadcrumbs
- Vegetable oil
- Ice cream
Instructions:
Step 1.
Slice the cheesecake in batches. It is better to slice it chilled from the fridge.
Step 2.
Heat oil in a deep fryer or deep pan. The temperature should be at least 350 degrees Fahrenheit
Step 3.
Mix the wheat flour, rice flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Knead these ingredients with a fork.
Step 4.
Pour in the cold baking soda and egg. Using a fork, stir the dough to make it lumpy.
Step 5.
Check the temperature of the oil by dipping a small piece of dough in it. If it fries quickly and bubbles a lot, the oil is ready to fry.

When the oil reaches the desired temperature, dip the cheesecake pieces in panko breadcrumbs and gently place them in the oil. If not using breadcrumbs, just dip them in the batter.
