Banana Nut Bread

This is the best banana walnut bread I have ever made! It’s incredibly flavorful.

Ingredients:

 

  • ½ cup margarine
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup banana puree
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 ½ cup flour
  • ½ teaspoon soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup instant oatmeal
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts

Instructions:

Step 1:

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees C. Lightly grease a baking dish. In a large bowl, whisk margarine and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating well, then add banana and vanilla.
Step 2:

In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking soda and salt. Add to already prepared mixture.

Step 3:

Add oatmeal and nuts. Pour the dough into the prepared mold.

Step 4:

Bake in preheated oven for 50 to 55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the bread comes out clean.
